-Description: We built this bar right on the 'beach' of the Baltimore Harbor. The focus was using unique materials to evoke a casual feel for this outdoor venue. The kitchen, bar, bathrooms and utility rooms are built in painted shipping containers. We outfitted the shipping containers with appliances, insulation, flooring, and cabinetry. Our team also transformed a vintage Airstream into an ice cream truck for the venue as well. All of the decking, fixtures, and planters are built with pallets and salvaged wood. A favorite feature of Sandlot is Pallet Mountain, a playground for children that we built from a giant stack of pallets.
